What type of session is best for you?

In person


I offer in person sessions in a confidential therapy room in Bridgend with comfortable chairs and an optional cup of tea or coffee. After arranging a day and time in advance, I'd send you directions of where to meet and some more info so you know what to expect from our first session. 


Counselling in person might be the right choice for you if you'd prefer not to be at home for your session and/or would prefer to be in the same room as your counsellor.  

Telephone & Online


I also offer sessions over the phone or online. For online essions, I use Microsoft Teams to meet over video, so you'll need a smartphone, tablet or laptop (and reliable wifi!) if you'd like to have sessions online.


Online counselling sessions can be easier to fit in around your life or working hours, and you don't have to choose a therapist in the same area as you. 


I'll be in a confidential space for these sessions, and you'll need somewhere quiet, private and free from distraction, so we can focus on our session.

Walk & Talk


 If you enjoy being in nature, this might be the option for you. Outdoor therapy can take away the pressure from traditional face to face talking therapies if you find it difficult to talk in front a screen or in a room.


I have a few walks in the Bridgend and Porthcawl areas and we can chat about where's best for you depending on your ability. Whether you prefer to walk or sit on a bench outdoors, there are options. 

Availability & Costs

Costs:

  • Optional 30 minute consultation (over the phone) - free
  • One hour therapy session online or over the phone - £55
  • One hour in person / Walk & Talk therapy session - £55


Payment would be needed by bank transfer before each session or can be paid in cash on the day.


I offer a lower rate to students and people on a low income, and we can also negotiate costs for block bookings.
